What shall I do when I get to ten thousand blog views/reads? Cheer/buy champagne or admit to self that can and do write and must try harder? Or possibly give up, and find something more productive to do...like cleaning the floors..

Given that you don't make any money from this enterprise, I'd suggest something modest and in keeping with these frugal times.
Thank you, well had a lovely croissant and coffee breakfast this morning with my daughter, so will consider that my frugal non-Champers celebration.
